What a surprise it was as I reached the Conca D’oro. The entire valley offers me its delights in an enchanting mix of fruit aromas, flowers and woody hues. Bergamots and violets revive my mind, numbed by such a long journey. The scents of musk and ambergris intimate that I have indeed left my sweet and beloved France.
