Shipping policy

Scent Grade is an online shop, operated by Maison Royal Holding LLC,  we are committed to ensuring that every order is processed, handled, and delivered with the highest level of efficiency and professionalism. The following policy outlines our shipping standards, timelines, and customer responsibilities.

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

All orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1–5 business days, excluding Sundays and federally recognized U.S. holidays. Orders are fulfilled in the sequence they are received. Processing times may be extended during periods of high demand.

Backordered items will be clearly marked on product pages with estimated shipping timelines.

Note: If an item is on backorder, additional processing time may apply. Customers will be notified if their order contains a backordered product.

Some orders may require extended handling time of up to 14 days or more, especially if an item is backordered. We recommend reviewing the product page before placing your order, as backordered items will clearly display estimated processing and shipping timelines.

Please note that processing times and shipping times may vary depending on product availability, International freight clearance and fulfillment status. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’ll always keep you informed as your order progresses.

2. Order Cancellation

Customers may cancel or modify an order only if it has not yet been shipped and a tracking number has not been generated.

To request a cancellation or modification, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible.

Once a tracking number has been generated, the order can no longer be canceled or modified. Any requests after shipment will be handled according to our return policy.

3. Domestic Shipping (United States)

We provide reliable shipping services through major carriers, including USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. The specific carrier is chosen based on efficiency and service availability at the time of fulfillment.

       Shipping Cost:

       A flat shipping fee of $10 applies to all orders under $90.

       Complimentary shipping is offered on orders valued at $90 or more.

       Estimated Transit Time: Once your order has been processed (1–5 business days), the estimated transit time is 3–7 business days.

       Estimated Delivery: For most domestic orders, customers can expect delivery within 4–12 business days from the date of order placement (1–5 business days processing + 3–7 business days transit). Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary based on carrier conditions and order volume.

4. Canada Shipping

Orders shipped to Canada are subject to specific costs and transit timelines.

       Shipping Cost:

       Orders shipped to Canada qualify for free shipping on purchases over $150 CAD.

       Orders below this threshold are charged a flat rate of $25.00 CAD.

       Estimated Transit Time: Once your order has been processed, the estimated transit time is typically 7–14 business days.

5. International Shipping & Customs

We ship to most international destinations. Rates and transit times vary significantly by location.

       Shipping Cost: International shipping rates are calculated based on destination, package weight, and carrier rates. The final shipping cost is displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

       Estimated Transit Time: Once your order has been processed, the estimated transit time generally ranges between 10–21 business days, depending on the destination country and customs clearance.

       Customs Duties & Taxes: Customs duties, import taxes, and related fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are not collected by Scent Grade and will be paid separately by the customer to the local customs authority upon arrival. Scent Grade does not assume liability for delays caused by customs clearance.

International Shipping & Liability Disclaimer

All international shipments are not covered by Scent Grade shipping insurance. Once an order is handed over to the shipping carrier, Scent Grade is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft that may occur during transit or after delivery.

In the event of a lost, damaged, or stolen package, the customer is responsible for filing and managing any claims directly with the shipping carrier. We typically ship international orders via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

Please note that international orders are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges due to shipping-related issues.


6. Shipping Address Policy

Orders are shipped to the address provided and verified during checkout. Post-order modifications to shipping addresses are not permitted. Customers requiring an address correction must cancel the original order and submit a new one.

7. Return to Sender Policy

If a shipment is returned due to an invalid, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer, the following conditions apply:

       Reshipment: A flat fee of $10 will be charged to the customer for the second shipping attempt.

      Refund: If a refund is requested, the original shipping cost will be deducted, along with a 15% restocking fee.

       Shipping fees and insurance costs are non-refundable.

In the event of an error attributable to Scent Grade (e.g., incorrect labeling), the company assumes full responsibility and will reship at no additional charge.

8. Unverified Addresses

If a shipping address cannot be validated through carrier systems, Scent Grade will contact the customer for confirmation. If we do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

9. Refused or Abandoned Shipments

If a customer refuses delivery of an order, the original shipping costs, duties, taxes, and return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund. These amounts will be deducted from any refund issued.

Note: Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, Scent Grade is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If your package is missing, please file a claim directly with the carrier unless you purchased optional Package Protection (Insurance) at checkout.

Opting Out of Signature or Insurance

If you choose to opt out of signature confirmation or shipping insurance, you assume full responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage once the carrier marks the package as delivered.

If a signature-required package arrives visibly damaged or broken, you must refuse delivery and return it to the courier at the time of delivery.

If the package is accepted and signed for, and the carrier marks it as delivered, we are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage thereafter.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS POLICY

Duties & Taxes

International shipping charges do not include customs duties, taxes, or any additional fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Customs Responsibility

By placing an international order, the customer agrees to pay all applicable customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees required upon delivery.

Refused Shipments

If an international shipment is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, taxes, or customs-related issues, the customer will be responsible for:

  • Original shipping costs
  • All customs duties and taxes
  • Any return shipping or handling fees

These costs will be deducted from any eligible refund, if applicable.
